The Cutest RSVP Ever!!!!!

I'm back everyone! Wow it's been over a year!!! Instead of catching you all up I'll just start over :)

Most of you know Lincoln is about to turn 1!!! As I sent out the invites recently I have started to receive some RSVPs. I had to share this one as it was by far the cutest I have ever seen!!!!

This is Chelsye. She was Lincoln's first date to the zoo!!! Although he's really shy around her, she is very forthcoming about her feelings of him. She especially loves his hair....pulling it and such.

Yes it's true!

WE ARE PREGNANT!!!

This is the first picture of our little one. Baby is healthy and doing well, although I seem to have the worst case of morning sickness EVER! But we are so excited and happy. Especially Jason, who has been so wonderful and helpful! He also is so excited about Doctors appointments and about learning what comes next. Wonderful!

We will be keeping everyone posted as we go through this whole process!

So far we are 8 weeks and 5 days along, and out little one is about the size of a lima bean. Due date is May 15, however, with our need for a c-section our peanut will be coming about 2 weeks earlier than the actual due date.

The Dentist

Well it was a day I had been dreading ever since I made the appointment. Dylan had to go to the dentist and have 3 caps AND 3 fillings. Well my sweet little boy wasn't scared....well he wasn't at first. When we first got there he was all smiles and enjoying his day.

Then we were called back and Dylan was given what they call a "Kiddie Cocktail" and we were told to just sit with him and let it take effect...... He hated it and didn't want to drink it all down but being the brave, good boy that he is he took it and even smiled for me when I asked if I could take a picture.

Now an hour and a half later the "cocktail" was not really having the effect that the nurse was expecting, he was getting antsy and fidgeting. Apparently Dylan has a high tolerance for medicine. But we were seeing signs that maybe it was working it's way into his system......

Now at this point I was very nervous for him but when they asked me to carry him back and lay him down on this very scary looking "chair" and started to strap him in, I started to lose it. I am a MOM after all and I do not like to see my baby being confined in a way that would make me panic! Especially when he wasn't knocked out yet! But Dylan was being so brave still and he just lay there and let them and was really good for the whole procedure (they did use laughing gas so he was napping for the whole process). The entire procedure took only about 20 minutes. I was amazed! And while there were some tears afterwards (only because Dylan's so smart mother didn't hide the chocolate covered pretzels I was snacking on and he wanted some right away) he was soon smiling for me and wanted to show me his new teeth!

After a very long nap, he hydrated and ate some eggs and was playing around with Deanna. I am so amazed! He didn't complain about any pain (and I didn't give him a drop of Ibuprofen...I tried to wake him up to give it to him and he just wasn't having it!).

Summer Lovin'

This summer has been so fun despite the heat. We've been spending so much time at the pool or in our very own backyard pool! And by backyard pool I mean one of those tiny blue plastic pools. A must have for all kids! We've been playing baseball and lots of Hangman inside when it's just too hot to be outside. This summer also brought my 28th birthday and Jasons **th birthday. Not to mention July 1st marked out 1 year anniversay. And I can honestly say that I love Jason more everyday. Other than that Jason and I have just been working and trying to enjoy life as much as possible.

Some of us were playing baseball......

While others were eating ice cream......

Until our game was "rained" out.....

I am so in love with this man!

He is trying to tan, so far it has only gotten him burned. Don't worry Joyce I keep him very coated with Sun Block!

She is growing way too fast! My little princess is not so little.

We get so hungry playing in the water and sun all day.

Mom is happy!

Another Graduation

About a week after Peyton was born Amanda graduated from High School. Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Cleo came down all the way from Visalia California! I love it when they come to visit! We are all so proud of Amanda. Sadly it was raining the night of her graduation and it was of course outside so Grandma and I used our programs to try to keep as dry as possible. Wasn't really working. Oh well, rain or shine we wouldn't've missed it!

Way to go BOB!

Jason went to Washington, D.C. Of course he wouldn't miss Bob's graduation. He got his MBA from George Washington University. We are all so proud of him! None more proud than his beautiful wife Katie.

Donny also was there which completed "The Three Amigos", these guys are so great when they get together! They always have a good time together, even though Donny had his mind full of plans for his upcoming wedding!!!!

Well I wasn't there, thanks to my ridiculous fear of flying, so I don't know all the details of what was going on, but I do know thdy did get to go to a wine tasting out at Mount Vernon and even posed in some pictures with President George Washington and First Lady Martha Washington. Below are the pictures of the trip for the rest of us to enjoy.

Their place.

JENGA time!

Bob was chosen to deliver a speech in front of about 10,000 people at the graduation and it was incredible!

Mount Vernon

Apparently Bob is never too far away from his Blackberry! I think he's drooling ;)

Cinco De Mayo

Well for those of you who don't know Cinco De Mayo also happens to be Yvette's Birthday. This year my Dad had a surprise party for her....and she really never expected a thing. It was so much fun! Even though I don't look too happy in the pic I did have a good time. The look was intended for my brother in law who really likes to irritate me as much as he can. The kids love the pool and of course had so much fun playing with their cousins. Amanda had not had Peyton yet so she was very tired from the day.....which is when Jason posed for the pic with her.
